Barge Crashes Into Protection Cell on BNSF Bridge in Burlington Iowa

BURLINGTON, IOWA — A barge accident took place on the east side of the BNSF bridge located in Burlington, Iowa this morning after a barge struck a protection cell on the bridge. A protection cell is designed to work as a buffer in order to protect the bridge from being hit.
